Step 1   Accept   – John 15:5 "With out faith in the Word of God" You can overcome nothing.
Step 2   Believe  – Philippians 4:13   "With faith in the Word of God" You can overcome all things.

Step 3   Chose – 1 John 1:9  "Returning to faith in the Word" You can be forgiven and forgive then be restored.

 ::. N.E.W.S.T.A.R.T. Regeneration Concept: Nutrition is for the mind, for the body, for social life and the spiritual being, and is needed  to regenerate health, likewise for the other 7 principles Exercise, Wholesome Environment, Support, Temperance, Attitude, Responsibility, Trust in God. .::
 
Nutrition: Is the foundation in the process of building a sound body, mind, social and spiritual well being. “The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. Gen. 2:16-17  And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. Gen.3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. more info

Exercise: Develops the physical, mental, social and spiritual tools for a healthy and prospers life. “This is the book of the generations of Adam. Support: of a Community Network unfolds talents, skills, resources and opportunities for growth in positive life-styles. Ex-offenders (Christians) need support after Prison. We lead many persons to the Way, Truth and Life while in prison, then abandon them. The Church has responded well to the need for ministries inside the prisons and jails, but has not begun to address the needs of ex-offenders after release. In most cases, the spiritual support system (jail house religion) that the inmate might have developed in prison is left behind and a new spiritual support system is not found.   more info

Temperance: Restraints and self control develops respect and add strength to positive decision making. “Choose this day whom you will serve…as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD”. Joshua 24:15 The issue is “control”. The opposite is being “out of control”. No limitations, if I ‘am angry something is destroyed. When uncomfortable I self medicate. If I feel disrespected I retaliate. I blame someone else for my unmet needs, society is at fault, my parents are at fault, the boss is at fault, and God is at fault. This man is” out of control” he does things he may not want to do or find pride in. He is not bound by normal restraints, society rules or his own conscience and can’t fulfill responsibilities. He certainly doesn’t pay any attention to God’s Commandments.   more info

 Attitude:  When positive attitude eliminates negative it changes our destination in life. Attitude determines our atmosphere, it introduce what we are from inside out. To know and trust God is to know peace. Where there is no knowledge and trust in the Word of God there is no peace.  more info

Responsibility: Men, Fathers, Sons, Husbands are the titles of responsibility; this must be taught, learned and practiced. Personal responsibility is the first step in the journey to a new positive life style. Positive thinking takes place, positive actions are practiced, positive relationships are developed and a new spiritual life is regenerated. No excuses because of situation, condition, position or stigma is accepted when responsibility is taken.   more info
 
Trust in God:  Starts with the study of nature and the Bible the Creator’s love letters to man. Successful Regeneration depends on our working together with Him. Trust is, if the BIBLE says it I believe it, if God commands it, I will do it, if it’s good enough for Jesus it’s good enough for me. Faith in God is the easiest thing a man can do;
· First he accepts John 15:5 last part “without me, ye can do nothing.”
· Secondly believe Phil. 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me.”
· Thirdly confess I John 1:9 “If I confess my sins He is faithful and just to for give me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

 The first four of the Ten Commandments equal one great precept. “Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart.”
 
The second part, the last six are equally important to the first, “Thou shall thy neighbor as thyself.” 
 
Thirdly they add up to man realizing who God is and who God created man to be, and the relationship the commandments have to His government or His character.
 
Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my Commandments." John 14:15

As Christians we constantly face the dual citizenship that comes from living under this world's government and the government of the Kingdom of God. The Christian is to be a good citizen of whatever government that hold the reins of power, that makes and enforces the rules and laws of our particular country. Their is no excuse to be a law breaker, no matter our personal view point. Since the Commandments of God is of a much higher moral standard than those of man, we should always find it easy to live within the laws of the land. If the Laws of the land conflict with the Laws of God, I would rather be safe on the side of God. "Thus say the State" or "Thus say the Church" at best, is second to a " Thus say the WORD of God" to the Christian. 

 

 The Law of Regeneration is applied to the Mental, Social, Physical and Spiritual Health. Each of the eight principles is used as assessment tools. The process is to meet the needs and build on the strengths found. When practiced they serve naturally as an overflow in others lives. Thexoffender Mentor must practice what they teach in order for the discipline to be effective.
