(I Corinthians 13)
I will greet this day with love in my heart for my Creator, Redeemer and soon King, plus love for all mankind as myself. Until I master this art, I am no more than the least of my brethren. I will make love my greatest weapon and none on whom I call upon can defend against its mighty force. “God is love.”
I will love the light of His Word for it shows me my ways. I will be happy in dark times for it reveals to me my need. I will welcome joy and peace for they enlarge my heart. I will endure sadness for it opens my soul. I will acknowledge rewards for they are my due. I will overcome obstacles for they are my challenges.
I will speak well of my enemies and they will become my friends. I will encourage my friends and they will become my brothers. When I am tempted to criticize I will be silent. When recognition is due my brother or sister, I will applaud loudly. I will give all praise, honor and Glory to God.
I will love myself by zealously inspecting all things which enter my body, mind, social environment, and conscience. From this moment all hate I will let go. I have no time for hate only love.
I will take the first step required to become a man among men.I will measure my greatness by my love for God first, my family, friends, and then associates. I can succeed with love alone, without it I will fail.
I will greet this day with love and I will succeed. My cup runs over, and goodness and mercy flow to all I contact.
